What is Web Hosting? |
| A. |
A web hosting service is a type of Internet hosting service that provides individuals, organizations and users with online systems for storing information, images, video, or any content accessible via the Web. Web hosts are companies that provide space on a server they own for use by their clients as well as providing Internet connectivity, typically in a data center.
Web page hosting is generally sufficient only for personal home pages. A complex site calls for a more comprehensive package that provides database support and application development platforms (e.g. PHP, Java, and ASP.NET). These facilities allow the customers to write or install scripts for applications like forums and content management. For e-commerce, SSL is also required |

What is Domain Name? |
| A. |
A domain is your identity online. It separates you from everyone else - once yours, as long as you keep renewing it, no one else may have it. They are sometimes colloquially (and incorrectly) referred to by marketers as "Web addresses".
There are two parts to a domain – the domain name itself, and the TLD (top level domain) extension. The TLD extension can be gTLD (generic top level domain) extension, or ccTLD (country code top level domain) extension. Most TLDs have a meaning behind them - .EDUs are used by educational institutes, and .ORGs are supposed to be used by non-profit organizations. A domain with a TLD of 'co.uk' is very likely British-based.

Some companies supply unlimited Band Width, why you not? |
| A. |
It is simply impossible for a company to offer unlimited space or bandwidth to use. As hosting companies and their associated technologies are themselves limited (i.e. bandwidth or hard disk space), unlimited offerings are usually just an advertising gimmick. Often you will find clauses embedded deeply within the company's terms of service contract that negate the unlimited offering. The clauses are usually arbitrary, such as excessive CPU usage will be grounds for account termination. We always think of this as some ort of scam.

What happens if I excess my Data Transfer Limit? |
| A. |
The data transfer limits are all clearly listed in our hosting plans. Any data transfer in excess of plan threshold will be charged at the end of the billing period. You will receive an email notice.
However, there are also some ways to make less data transfer for your website. In most cases you should first try to optimize the graphics on your website. Many GIFs look just as good with fewer colors, and many JPEGs look just as good with a higher compression level. Some website offers an image optimizer program online. You can search in google to find one. You should also analyze the HTML of your site. Make sure you use relative paths, so that images are not downloaded more than one time. Remove any extra spacing and when linking to other pages, use relative paths and not absolute links.
If you do have high demand for the band width, we recommend you should promote to the next higher hosting plan. |

What is SSL? |
| A. |
SSL provides endpoint authentication and communications privacy over the Internet using cryptography. In typical use, only the server is authenticated (i.e. its identity is ensured) while the client remains unauthenticated; mutual authentication requires public key infrastructure (or PKI) deployment to clients. The protocols allow client/server applications to communicate in a way designed to prevent eavesdropping, tampering, and message forgery. |

How do I upload my website online? |
| A. |
Uploading your site can be done in many ways, but the most popular one is through FTP. When your hosting account was created, you should have been provided with an FTP account. These files become live online instantaneously. |
